Grunge Bands

Any of you guys is a fan of Grunge? (the musical genre)

You know that it's known as the creator of this genre: Kurt Cobain (Nirvana's lead singer)... and it's also known as Seattle Sound.

So in here we can talk about that kind of rock, which is really the only one I like... I HATE: heavy metal and all those creepy bands that just scream and where you can barely understand the lyrics...

Grunge in the other hand, has great lyrics and amazing vibes and beats... My favorite Grunge band is a venezuelan one called Raped Dolls, they also sing in english so, if you wanna check them out in here is their myspace:

Green River created grunge, not Nirvana Nirvana only made it big.


I always enjoyed Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, and Pearl Jam growing up, and still do to this day.

Well, I've always heard Kurt created it so...

I'e not heard those you mentioned, so I'm checking them out... (Just of Pearl Jam I've heard and like a lot)

Grunge eh? Well, I like Pearl Jam, and I occasionally listen to Nirvana. But my favourite grunge band is probably Hole.

And I like Guano Apes. They're sorta like a mix of grunge and metal.

I read that the main factor that helped Hole's success was that Kurt used to write the lyrics... In fact, my favorite song of them is Old Age

I really liked Courtney's voice, but she's totally crazy! jejeje.. But yeah, Hole is great also

Hehehe I haven't said so, and I will not, you know Green Day is my favorite band, but they're definitely not grunge...

Some people consider them as emo-rock or pop-rock, I think they punk-rock... Just that and amazing of course, jejeje

I used to listen to grunge in the early 90's quite a lot, these days I still like it, but the only album I still listen to on a regular basis is Soundgarden's "Down On The Upside"
