Who else think this song is pure magic? The calm melody matchs perfectly with the vocals from both Nelly and K'naan. The lyrics makes us really go away with our thoughts. Its a true song, made with feelings. Its a song that never gets old.

yes this song is amazing, but now I'm waiting for some Disc from latest tour with this concerts versions of all songs, especially I'm Like a Bird when nelly sing and she's not on the stage yet.

What I've always wondered is if they just improvised the whole thing. Do you guys think they did? It seems so to me and both Nelly and K'naan are really good at improvising. Since she supposedly wrote a song called Going Away for Loose, I thought when I first listened to it that they may have used that as a basis and then came up with the rest...

I think they already had a sketch (you can see Nelly reading at some point), and improvised some parts. I have a feeling that this whole "I think saw you at the..." part is all improvised.

I remember MTV announced it as a free-styling jam.
