Get Functioned Lockface!
Okay can someone please tell me how the Num Lock key on their keyboard has in any way made their or someone they know's life better? Give me one USEFUL use for it. Why do we need to lock these troublesome numbers? Are they going to take over the keyboard? There are duplicates right above the letters!
Okay so maybe it was initially so you could have arrow keys and Home, End, etc, but the standard keyboard comes with all these closer than the originals now so what's the point of them? Why is it still standard on a keyboard? I mean the only time I ever see someone use that part of the keyboard is to use the numpad and they ALWAYS start hitting the keys and then no numbers appear so they're like oh oops gotta hit Num Lock first! So why should this bother me you ask? Okay I just bought a new keyboard. It has the softest most awesome keys and has all the music controls etc everything is perfect except it has a Function Lock button. I wish I'd noticed this before I bought it. Some genius thought they'd lock out the F keys and create their own little shortcuts instead. Now once again, why should this bother me you ask? I can just hit the Function Lock key. Well cos I'm an obsessive-compulsive freak who can't bare to have the light on. It drives me nuts. It's all I can look at, all I can think about. So call me crazy but I still think it's so stupid. Why are they locking out the more common, more productive uses for these keys. So we have to turn the lights on to gain access rather than switching it around and making it so you have to turn the light on when you want to make use of the queer keys. Anyone else wish to redesign the keyboard? Hmm maybe I can turn off this damned Function Lock key.

Nico, you love 50 cent? Jajaja (that says your signature)
Well, if you are going to talk about useless stuff in the keyboard talk about the order in the letters. I'm used to it and I can write quite fast but they have no sense whatsoever. I mean, the A that is the most commonly used letter is in the far left and you have to press it with your weakest finger.

The most commonly used letter depends on which language it is, in Dutch (and English?) it?s the E (it?s in all three articles and in every infinite verb). When I started playing the piano I really had to train my little fingers, because they had too little power to press the keys. |

Re: Get Functioned Lockface!
Nice Joe Pesci sig Nico lol.
Okay well I fixed F-Lock anyway. I just opened up the iTouch software and changed F1 to Keystroke (F1), and so on. I thought I was going to have to use some kind of script then magically I opened the iTouch software again and I have a shiteload of options to choose from for the function keys. Odd but oh well I got my wish. So many pointless keys they're adding to keyboards nowadays too. The only one I ever used on my old MS kb was the Calculator button. In fact when I got this I was pissed off cos I forgot where to open the calculator cos I was so used to hitting a button lol but I've set iTouch to it now so hopefully i'll get used to that.
