Funny News Items
I see some funny things on news sites sometimes. The first article below cracked me up so I thought I'd create a topic for anytime people come across this kind of thing. These both happen to be New Zealand related stories.
New Zealand not for sale: eBay 12th May 2006, news.com.au AN Australian man has failed in his bid to sell New Zealand for a bargain-basement price on eBay. "Clearly New Zealand is not for sale," eBay Australia spokesman Daniel Feiler was quoted as saying. Armless motorist charged over driving 11th May 2006, news.com.au A MAN who has no arms has appeared in a New Zealand court charged with dangerous driving after police allegedly stopped him driving with his feet at high speed, media reported today.

Doc Taped Ecstasy To His Privates
12 May 2006 A DOCTOR tried to smuggle 11 ecstasy tablets into a music festival by taping the drugs to his scrotum. But Dr Peter Windross, 32, was caught by an alert sniffer dog who picked him out in a crowd of revellers. The red-faced GP was led away and strip-searched at the festival in Homelands, Hampshire.
