ummm it should give you a hint on how valid their opinion of her is if they call her Smelly Retardo. How mature are these people, really? ( no offense, but come up with a better name than that, geez!). First of all, have they come close to smelling her? I bet not. And as for retarded...I don't even want to know. Whatever I know it makes you mad cause it makes me mad that my friends hate her too, and think that I'm crazy for posting on boards like this, but hey, this is what you love! Her music speaks to you, and they would get mad at them too if you dissed the backstreet boys that I bet they loved a while ago and cried over, you know what I mean? Don't worry about it, stay true to yourself!

Yeah, most of my friends would never buy her album, but they have listened to her and liked some of her songs. I have given a few copies of Folklore to a couple of friends as X-mas presents, and they all liked it. It's weird when people tell me that I only like her because she's pretty, which she is, but she also has a great voice, great lyrics, and a creative style of music. I guess most of my friends talk smack because they don't want to admit that they actually like her music.

Hmm... almost all my friends and people that know me gets surprised that I'm a Nelly fan, people gets prejudice with some things, and that happens also with Nelly, they think she's also a poppy star, anyway, I don't care they don't know or like her, though maybe if a lot of people get to know her music better, they'll like her and become fans and buy records and make Nelly richer, in that case I'll maybe lose my interest in her music.

This is so cool one of my friends liked powerless so I sent her the lyrics and stuff. And 2 days ago she walks up to my and says: If there is a Nelly concert I really want to come with you!! That is so cool A nelly fan on my school besides me!!
