Timbaland and Nelly Furtado have problems with the Finns? Finnish tabloids Iltalehti and Ilta-Sanomat Furtado’s “Do it” (produced and masterminded by Timbaland) rips off “Acid Jazzed Evening” by Finnish artist Tempest. Go to compare the two

Oh, well, I'm from Finland, and I just went to a radio station page, and ofcourse there were these news... Timbaland was the one blamed though, not Nelly. Many people here are stupid as asses and think Finnish people do everything the best. It's a pretty young country (less than 100 years) so there's still a whole lot of nationality building, and some people relate to it.

I think it's very tasteless how they are doing it, because this might hurt Nelly's career as well, although I'd bet a hundred bucks any day, that she knew nothing of it. What they need to do is contact the record company about it, and clear this out, not talking about it all over the media. They think not making an official complaint will make 'em seem even better. I mean come on and please. It's pretty much as if Loose sold millions because that guy made such a great beat, give me a break. So why the hell flaunt it all over the media instead of contacting Nelly about it. It'll be completely wrong to hurt her career with it. That happens all the time in the world, but they somehow need to get the whole worlds attention. Low national self-esteem that is. Ofcourse here live brilliant people too, like me

Just checked some news about it... fucking idiots...headlines saying Nelly Furtado stole... I'll write them some feedback e-mails to check their facts, like how the hell would Nelly know of some never -heard-of-musician, producers can of course.

I know. That's the most pathethic thing about it, this rip-off has to do with maybe 0.002 percentage about the whole album, if even that, and they're all like "yeah, showing those American guys how to make music, whose talent do you think made Loose such a hit" LMFAO

The bottom line is, that even if Do It was the best musical piece ever written, still that kind of a small part has no power over how the song ends up. And like Sayitright would say - that song would've been just as goo... err.. bad, with or without the part. So I think it kind of makes me pity them for making it such a big deal. Because after all if they were succesful producers theirself, they'd never even need to mention it.

BTW, NELLYSMAN - seriously you need to change that location of yours or Nelly will never marry you. I wish you'd actually get together, and I'd see her whip you into a good democrat I know if she persuaded, you'd give in, boy... lol
