Hey I made this thread so we could watch each others favourite performances of other artists.

This one is one of my favourites from a Turkish singer Sertab Erener (she won Eurovision in 2003) and she has such an awesome operatic voice! It surprised me so much and turned me from a Sertab hater to a Sertab lover

Mensch, by herbert groenemeyer. I love his energy on stage, he is great. By the way: "Mensch" is his only song which was number one in the German single charts

I have a lot of favourits performances..but my choice is madonna with i love new york...it's in a disco in london it's a great song and the performance is very good too,,i love waht she sais at the beggining..

Oscar Peterson Quartet - Cakewalk With Joe Pass on guitar. This is my favourite video that is available on Youtube. But it's not my favourite formation of the Oscar Peterson Trio/Quartet..:
Oscar Peterson Trio & Nat King Cole - Stompin' at the Savoy. Now Herbie Ellis is on guitar, Ray Brown on bass. The singer is Nat King Cole, Stan Getz and Coleman Hawkins on saxophone, Roy Eldridge on trumpet.

The video clip from L'amour Toujours exists of live fragments from a performance somewhere. I hope that counts too, because there are no quality records of live performances at youtube, only crappy vids from fans.

My favourite performance, which was also the best night of my life was The Grates at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on 14th October 2006. Absolutely incredible set, and Patience, the lead singer is well known for her pyschotic antics on stage. She's awesome.

Sound might be all distorted, but it fucking rawked. I'm constantly surprised that she can still sing soundly whilst jumping around like that. She did it for the whole hour and a bit too! I tried in one song and was gone near the end. And you can watch Alana goin' at it on her drums! And I loved the penguins and owls on the stage, for eyes they had red lights, so when they turned off all the other lights the red eyes just shot across the theatre and it was hot. They had their keyboard/banjo dude dress in a panda suit as well and when he wasn't playing an instrument, he was drinking beers.

Well, you all know what's comin', so I won't disappoint you:

my favourite live performer is Muse!

I especially like the energy that flows from the stage. And every time I see them, it's always different. You have artists where the concert sounds almost the same like the album, but Muse has a very different live sound, and it's terribly great.

Then I also like Green Day, they also have the energy stuff.

You know I love Muse, Tom, but I'm just so addicted to the most recent album. I just listened to the whole thing on the way home in the car. I still have like every song racing through my head at once. I think I need to listen again. Can't wait to see them in January at Big Day Out!

And yeah, their new album is great. But for me, the best still is Origin of Symmetry. Just a matter of personal taste.
