The families of our heads of the countries and morals...
We've all heard about Harry's slips, the Bush twins, etc.
In New Year's Eve, our president gave a speech as always. This time he asked all the parents to open their eyes and really see what is happening with their children. Although it's illegal to consume alcohol under 18 years of age, a lot of teenagers abuse it and basically cause a lot of problems for themselves and others. It's become a huge problem. Right now, our president is in San Francisco, and his two under-aged granddaughters are all over the news since they wrought havoc in the castle where random teenagers who were told about the party peed on the roof of the castle, smoked pot, threw shit on the ground and freely explored the president's private rooms and his documents. Half of the citizens would like to first of all cut off the private parts of those who dared to pee on the roof. Then they'd like to hang the ones responsible for security since it was practically non-existent, and then they'd like to spank the stupid brats for embarrassing their grandfather. I'm not a big fan of our president, I liked the prevois one better, but I really feel sorry for the man. He spends most of the time abroad, representing my country, his grandchildren should know what a huge responsibility it is. Plus, since their own parents are separated and aren't able to provide for them, they should be grateful that their grandparents took them in and gave them a normal home. I don't understand how they could have been so stupid and pull a stunt like that? They could have gone out, incognito, and do whatever the hell they would have wanted to without anyone finding out. They are old enough to realise that every action has consequences. The president sincerely apologised, no one's holding it against him, their shocked parents gave interviews, but they themselves haven't shown any kind of remorse. Seems like there are imperfections in every family. Sad to see how the ones asking others to raise our children the way we could be proud of them really have no idea how to actually do it. |

Re: The families of our heads of the countries and morals...
oioi..what a shame!
Our crown prince maried the daughter of an argentinian war criminal, and his brother or cousin (i still don?t understand the royal family) maried a woman who had connections with a big dutch maffioso. The parliament even had special meetings about this..as if they can decide who can marry who Monarchy should disappear asap!By the way, i saw your ex- national football coach on tv the other day, he is a dutchman and will train Kazachstan now. He said he really liked the Estonians because they were all very eager to make something of their life, after many years of suppression where this wasn?t possible. And he said that 1/3 of your 1,5 million people lives in the capital Tallinn I think i like your country. (although in general football experts should never be taken serious when they?re not talking about football ) |

Wow! That's really big! Especially cutting off the doodle whole thing! But seriously, that behaviour, considering the circumstances that you mentioned, is absolutely disgusting!!! And a severe embarassment to the head of your country. I can't believe that. Wow.
I'd say just lock them all up in the dungeon for five years. Together!! See how much partying can be done then before it all breaks upon them. Imagine that, peeing on a roof of castle. Damn. |

And also there's a saying that goes: "Countries have the governments (and governors in this case) that they deserve". Maybe is a simplistic phrase but I concur that as the governors are part of one country, they, in a way, show how the people of that country are. P.S. I had no intend on criticizing any country, I was just thinking about mine ![]()

Rodrigo, our president doesn't really rule the country or make decision, the parliament with 101 members does. But still, those brats should think twice when they decide to do something.
JW, are you talking about Arno Pijpers? I liked that guy, he drove a Hyundai, that much I know cos it was given to him by the company my aunt worked for. Right now our coach is Jelle Goes, so far we have nothing to complain about ![]() I worked next to that castle in the childrens park last August. That castle is beautiful. It was built by Peter I, czar of Russia. What a disgrace. |

Re: The families of our heads of the countries and morals...
I always feel sorry for the kids. They probably wish every day they weren't born to someone in such a high place and didn't have to put up with all the media exposure, etc. I remember when Prince William went to a fancy dress party dressed as a Nazi and had to apologise cos apparently the whole world was in mourning they were so offended. And Prince Harry...what boy doesn't want to hook up with lots of girls and experiment with things like alcohol and other drugs?
I don't think they should go pissing on the rooves of castles either, but I think they're still allowed to get up to the same mischief other kids do, whether or not it's just a few people or the whole country who hear about it. I know it's stupid to say leave the poor kids alone they didn't choose their parents cos it's not gonna make any different they're still gonna be in every newspaper and magazine, but it's still gotta blow for them and I hate hearing about when Fergie goes to the beach for example lol.

Re: The families of our heads of the countries and morals...
Prince Harry was the one who dressed in a Nazi outfit.
Anyway, the girls I'm talking about are 13 and 15, definitely not the right age to experiment with drugs and alcohol. They not only let strangers in the castle but they gave out the codes for the door, now that is an extremely stupid thing to do. And the security guards... couldn't they just tell the two little brats off? I mean, they are the president's grandchildren yes, but they are underaged, thus have no rights to order people around, etc., especially when it is not even their home, but their grandparents' residence. |

Re: The families of our heads of the countries and morals...
I think those kids deserve to be in all the papers and talked about. Just because they might have issues with being in the news or having to live up to other people's expectations doesn't justify such irresponsibility. I didn't think that doing those kinds of things, to that extent, was being a normal teenager either. Lots of young people have much bigger problems than having been born into wealth and privilege.

Man Mer, if this is the biggest problem plaguing you, I really wish I had your life. Someone peed on a roof - wow. Someone pooed on my friend's car once and she didn't make the news. And "normal life"? Umm, right. I wouldn't call that a normal life. Anyhoo, we all have to remember to be UNDERSTANDING of peoples situations. Everyone is different. You can't apply one rule across the board. U-N-D-E-R-S-T-A-N-D-I-N-G. |
