I am not saying the U.S. is perfect.
All of you have made really good points.
I was against Bush all along. But what whould of happened if John Kerry (other major candidate for presidency) would of won? Would of he illegally invaded?

An yes, our educuation system is kinda bad. Well the stupid "No CHILD LEFT BEHIND" act is stupid. WHY? well, cuz it makes kids that dont want to go to school go to school. And what do those kids do at school? well , those kids just go to school and disturb the class they are in, get in trouble and do nothing. And that interfears with the Education of the other kids that want to learn. The good thing about our education is that we get free breakfast and free lunch, well, "public schoolwise"..

And Eyal, I dont remember which country it was, but it was a middle easter country that were laughing and were glad when The World Trade centre was taken down. I am not saying it was Israel. So it surprised me when you said Israel liked the U.S..

Yes, there is no such thing as a "perfect system," but America's is pretty close. I admit, we do tend to be "overly patriotic" at times, but that's because we love our country so much. It truly is a great place to be.

Here in Mexico... there's a two kind of people when you talk about USA, the people who hate it and the people who love it.

The people who hate it it's because the war and the incredible power they have, but in the other hand, there's the people who love that country because of the economical aid that represents to our country or simply because it's a "better" country...

I don't know... I don't have any problems with the USA and I love to spend time there, I have family there and they're so happy.

i just think the US is really ambitious, the Us will do whatever it takes(wars) to be on the top and thats no good cuz that affect lots of countries.. Social values in the Us are not so good either, thats why lots of couples divorce and stuff like that..

The Internet for instance was invented in Switzerland, in the CERN (Centre Europ?ene pour la Recherche Nucl?aire), by Tim Bernes Lee. DARPA however (yes, American) were the first ones to create a decentralised communications system. But you are right when you say the USA controlls the internet. haha.

Ahh anyway, these discussions always end up with people bitching at each other. Bitching about small details, ... There doesn't exists a place where everything is perfect. But if you want to come close, try to find the UN list of countries where it's best to live. (It's Norway by the way )
