Dream drawing

Well, that's a completely irrelevant painting, as long as Nelly is concerned. It's just that I rarely draw, and when I actually do, it's a big deal for me, so I thought I'd share.

It's a dream a good friend of mine had, and yesterday he told me about it on MSN, and I dont know, this inspiration came to me, cuz I usually have similarly weird reams, and here it is:

Wow Biller! That's incredible! Looks like you used oil pastels? You could definitely experiment with that! It'd be so cool! Great work! Sounds like a really interesting dream too..

Is there any chance this friend of yours had something to do with "Atlantis: The Lost Tales", an adventure PC game? According to the game (or maybe it's just my interpretation of it) the eye is a symbol of knowledge.

Kamil: Actually, no game triggered this dream. My friend has always had weird dreams (and Im jealous ) but this was a dream that haunted him from 18 to 22, 4 years. When he told me, I just visualised that scene and got down and drew it.

Leesa, yes, it is oil pastels over watercolour. This draing helped me realise that oil pastel over oil pastel just won't do, so I used watercolours as a base. And your 'unknown' poem got me into a similar inspiration. You'll see....
