I watched this tonight, I was amazed, it's the best film I've seen in a long time. Frank, the scary bunny, did freak me out a bit, though. Jake Gyllenhaal was absolutely superb as Donnie, to see him look so innocent + yet so menacing at the same time, magnificent casting. I'm still a little unsure wether I like the idea of time travel or wether I would've prefered the film to be a bit more plausible. Overall, an amazing film. Anyone else seen it? Opinions?

was this your first time seeing it? for me, it was one of those movies that I had seen when it first came out and subsequently fifty more times, and now people are just discovering it (people I know) and being all "independent" like "Yeah dude this movie is the best fucking movie ever!!!" and I'm like shut it biatch, you didn't even know what it was before! sorry for that rant, but yeah I love this movie, one of those things I had to research online afterwards (like mulholland drive) and I still don't even know if I completely get it . . . mmmmm jakie gyllenhaal! and jena malone--you know it's gonna be a good one if she's in it!

Yeah, that's what I'm doing now, looking for stuff online. I can't really find anything decent, though. Oh, well. Yeah, I'd had it recommended to me, by a friend, but I could never seem to get my hands on it, until today. So, I watched it + I loved it. I think I will be watching it many more times, I wanna analyse it 'til I can create my own theories on it. I don't completely understand it, but I instantly loved it.

Oh, go see it. It's awesome, I hadn't seen a good movie in ages, all the ones I'd seen recently were fluffy, eye-candy, teen movies. This movie reaffirmed my faith in film.

We're talking about a good film, don't taint the thread with Leo DiCaprio. No, seriously.
