I do remember her wearing thick framed glasses on Being Nelly Furtado on VH1. It seems as though she wears them on her 'downtime' when she isn't on stage. Oh yes, I read this interview in glamour magazine once when she talked about how she had a 'makeover' when she was 12. Her sister took her to a dance and did her hair and make up and took off her glasses. Then of course there is that picture of her at a portuguese festival when she was about 9? she had these ENOURMOUS glasses. they were just horrendous, but yes there are pictures of her in glasses somewhere
