I think the long periods she's out of the business are to blame. Releasing an album every 3 years and then disappearing isn't much helpful for Nelly's recognition.

Well, here in Brazil some ppl have a little prejudice about her. 'Cuz she begun doing one kind of thing and after she changed... something like 8 to 80...
She is not doing wrong things, she's just trying diferents ways, she wants her space something larger. Her song is amazing, ok... i won't lie.. Loose is not something i'd like to hear but is not a bad album.

It's because of she doesn't pay to the magazines and Tv for appear in them such as Britney and Christina Aguilera who always is on the tv,radio and magazines even when they're not on the promocion of her albums.

Most here know who Nelly Furtado is, seeing as I live in Canada. The problem is that a lot of people merely know the new Nelly Furtado. They have no idea that the woman who did 'I'm Like A Bird' and the woman who did 'Maneater' are the same person.
