Do we have any drummers on board?
If there are, I was just wondering if you could give out some handy hints on buying a kit, what to go for, what not to go for etc. like that. Any recommendations, opinions etc.? I've looked through certain websites with helpful hints but just wanted to extend my curiousities to here.
I know that Pearl and Yahamas are the best of the range.. anybody have an opinion on the brand Ludwig? Any help will be greatly appreciated.  |

I'm partial to Pearl drums and Sabian cymbals
 But my drumming skills aren't so great, only playing for 2 years. Guitar is my main thing. Just play a lot, and in time you'll know what gear you'll want....it's too much a personal thing.

Lol yeah Nai that does help, I like looking at what artists use and such!
And Carlo, yeah I've been told it's a personal thing too, but I'm just trying to be all cautious and suss out the goods so I don't spend lots of money on a crappy little kit. I'm strapped for cash too, so that's another caution.. |
