Do u know anything about SAP???

So, i ask u this question because in august 2007 i'm going to work there and go also at school..there they told me that sap is well known everywhere..but i dindn't know anything about it before i saw that they search a busnessman..there i will be an apprentice..for 3 years.. so do u know anything about sap? and if yes..can u tell me something more about it?

They produce software which is now very popular and which seems to be applied quite often. I think it's sort of administration software but don't nail me down to that, haha...

It is popular alright. But every time I see a job ad for it, they ask at least 5 years of experience.

I did an evalution of SAP( business one) software for our company last year.
They were on the shortlist together with "Accountview" and "Navision".
SAP is quite a extensive software package and it is also quite good but not very user friendly.
We ended up buying "Accountview" as it was cheaper and more user friendly.
For smaller companies with up to 50 employees I would not recommend a SAP software package, for larger companies I think it is probably the best package you can buy, however it is extremely important that you buy it from a dealer that is able to give proper support when it is needed.

lol, yeah...nowadays, who doesn't ask for those stupid 5 years? I think they just want to make sure that only the best apply for a job at SAP.
Basically, they ask for 20 year old ladies&gentlemen who have their ABI(the highest possible graduation in Germany, Switzerland & Austria) and 5 years job experience. So, as you normally end school at the age of ~19-20, you should have already done 5 years of job experience -> in other words you should have begun at the age of 15 doing that job alongside school. Weird, isn't it
