Also; I am not the one who made the original, I just think this needs more attention. It is sad when people expect to get away with this kind of thing!

i don't know if it's true.but i don't think timbaland will steal songs,he is already a music talent! the so called origianl song sound like a midi of Do it. so what do u guys think about that?

As of right now, it seems like he did. I'm going to wait and see what he says about the situation before I completely accuse him of it. I would like to hear both sides of the story.

I thought he didn't steal it, but I wasn't concentrated on the back sound but the beat with the same machine. But now I do hear how the melody is exactly the same. Can one tell I haven't really listened to Do It

I don't really see what was the point, I mean it's not a great song at all imo. Nell should go back to doing her own beats too...

Nelly doesn't do her own beats Track and Field use to produce for her and they did Let My Hair Down and I can't remember what other song(s) on Loose.

I think she's said she has, before Folklore that is. As I understand the singles on Whoa Nelly were as much Nelly's hand writing as any pop songs ever are.

Please note that I don't have anything against Timbaland as such, I just don't think he should work with Nelly - I find he quenches Nelly's own sound, and that to me is so valuable. Doen't mean I'd never listen to a Timbaland record, just that I prefere them separate

I think Track and Field did most of Whoa Nelly as well as Folklore, but I'll double check. As far as song writing Nelly has always been involved.

btw I didn't think you had anything against Tim, if you prefer him and Nelly not working together your completely entitled to that preference
