does anyone know any good tips about making Cosmopolitans?
Do you set them on fire? .. i heard you do that lol. but i dont wanna set my house on fire if i do the wrong thing! Oh, if its not Cosmos u set on fire.. can any one tell me any that you do?

I know a wee bit about cocktails but I'm not that knowledgeable. I'm gonna be that annoying person who replies and says try www.google.com. Cos seriously recipes are the easiest things to find on google. Search for cocktails and you'll find sooo many sites with every ingredient and direction for every cocktail you can imagine. I know I've looked up some before, but I don't have a specific site I frequent or anything.

I had the "world's best cocktails" book in my garage, i'll have to find it. I set my tequilas on fire very nice mix!

its not really the ingredients that are the problem - i have tons of recipes n stuff at home *im a bit of an alkie*... its the whole flame part - when does it stop burning? lol acht, today is the cocktail day, so i'll practice a couple times b4 ppl come.. hopefully i dont burn the house down! and if they work, i get to drink them.. and i'll probably be quite.. happy for the folk arriving! yay!

Yeah like Leesa said, you don't all sit around and wait for it to go out lol. Depending on what it was it might burn for a while. Generally you just light several of them at once for everyone to have then all blow it out and get stuck into em.
You could drink it while still on fire but not advised lol. With a shot for example but it can bring hurties. I've seen a bartender light orange peel then squeeze it into a Cosmopolitan to light it. It was pretty funky and I was like wtf was that lol but I guess the acidic juices shoot out and transfer the flames or some crap.
