santlei, I'm not bashing Shakira because she is selling more than Nelly. I used to like her too, but then she just got too anti-feminist to my taste, and I don't think any woman should do that, it's just not right, and they are not equal at that video, don't fool yourself. It's like a regular rap video where the guy is watching and the girl is pleasing him. And Don't Bother video with leg-spreading was just unexceptable. She should have more responsibility than that. Anyhow, like I said, she does have some very good songs, but I just cannot accept her choices that demean women, that's all. And I don't think her music sucks (except for Hip's Don't Lie which isn't the kind of music I listen to) and I think Sandi Thom's new song is pretty brilliant as well - she reminds me so much of Alanis. I'm still rooting for Nelly. But I try not to be hostile, ok?

I actually wasn't refering to you because you actually stated some good points, but just look at the post before you to see what I was talking about lol, and well, I don't think is ok to continue with this "shakira discussion" because this is Nellys' board and I don't want this topic to go out of place!

I also want Nelly to go #1 on billboard, she deserves it!
