Cause of Britney's horrible VMA performance
"Brit found out about Sarah Silverman's crappy line about Britney's babies just moments before she took the stage to perform "Gimme More." Needless to say, Britney was PISSED! ... as any mom would be. Britney was so upset she walked through her performance just to get it over with: Britney Spears was to perform under the magic of Chris Angel... but MTV freaked out at the last minute finding out what Britney was actually going to do. Supposidly, what Britney and Chris were planning was to do a set of mirrors and flotation. But when told to the Palms Hotel/Casino... the hotel flipped. Insurance was the main problem, and the stage couldn't support the performance. MTV also freaked at the last minute because of their fear of being "too controversial" during the performance. Britney and Chris were infact furious with MTV's sad excuse and told Britney to change the performance at the last minute. Britney's original performance was to infact appear and disappear. To float through the air... and for much mature dancing."

well actually and unfortunatelly britney's perfomance was terrible, so frightful... OMG britney
she had a big opportunity for her comeback, and unfortunately she failed... her perfomance fell short of people's expectations... but the fault is not only of her... it's also of MTV... because britney was humiliated by the mtv... and i think the people who works in this channel forgot that her gave so much glories, audience and also prestige when she was young, she was the true PRINCESS OF THE POP... personally, i like some songs of her, i'm not a fan but i do... she is a human being and all of human being make their own mistakes and i think that she is deserves a new opportunity to show to people who really she is... and i gotta say that sarah's comment about britney's babies was something gross and it wasn't funny at all... |

I'm a huge fan of Britney, but I have to admit that she could get over the crap things that "comedian" said about her kids. Even if her performance was pretty bad, I was very excited that I was seeing her on-stage. I read in one of her fan-sites that a heel on one of her boots was broken and that's true cause there's a picture that shows it too. I wish that Britney will someday find her old good self.

Even with smoke and mirrors her performance would have still sucked. What Sarah Silverman did was save Britney from a more elaborate humiliation.
