Lol so much for Haiku...I didn't know what it was but it took me two minutes to work it out...everyone else is just writing poems rofl.

I'll spell it out a bit clearer and people might follow.

HAIKU TUTORIAL

- HAIKU CONSISTS OF 3 LINES.
- THE FIRST LINE HAS 5 SYLLABLES, THE SECOND HAS 7 AND THE THIRD HAS 5.

That's it.

ENGLISH SYLLABLE TUTORIAL

Now for people whose first language isn't English and don't know how to count the syllables it's quite simple. The word "car" contains one syllable. The word "topic" contains two. If you say the word slowly and sound it out, you come up with: "top...ic". Whereas you can't say "c...ar". It sorta represents the speed in which you can say a word.

Let me dissect an example. I like Andy's so here it is:

Carlo is a dood
But I call him MPH
I'm done with Haiku

Now I shall split it up into syllables:

Car-lo-is-a-dood
But-I-call-him-M-P-H
I'm-done-with-Hai-ku

Viola, 5-7-5.
