I think Nelly would agree. It's not like I am wishing that kind of thing on him. Of course not. It's just my interpretation of the song. But if it happened, then yeah, it's awful. Beyond awful. But that kind of thing happens. Sucks, though.

I've heard from an interview that she did, that when she recorded it she was nine months pregnant and having a nap. Either Track or Field (can't remember) had been working on something, but it didn't really work out. She heard the beats or something when she was resting and then just made up some lyrics for it. A lot of what we heard is the first recording. Many of the people in the studio had tears in their eyes when she sang, and many had told her that it is their favourite song on the album...

I think I heard it from a Radio 1 interview on the internet, where she talked about each song.

I'm not sure wat the song means but maybe in the past wen she did hip hop and was called nelstar her record label promised her things and build her up on lies then only to bring her down, like the lyrics there only build you up only to bring you down, etc

this probably aint true am just guessing hehe it's a f**kin great song anyway
