Nelly Furtado's "Loose" (Geffen) ends the Beatles' seven-week reign over European Top 100 Albums with a 3-1 climb. It's the album's first time at the summit in its 31st chart week, although Furtado loses control of Eurochart Hot Singles, dropping 1-2 with "All Good Things (Come To An End)" as "Smack That" by Akon featuring Eminem (Konvict/Universal) returns to the top.


The pan-European No. 1 album is a career first for Furtado, whose debut set "Whoa, Nelly" reached No. 8 in 2001 while its follow-up "Folklore" hit No. 12 in 2004. "Loose" hits the top after starting a second week at No. 1 in Germany and climbing 5-3 in Austria, 19-10 in Italy and 31-22 in the United Kingdom. It's down 1-3 in Switzerland. "All Good Things" has four current No. 1 placings to its name, in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Holland. [/SIZE]
