Big Beer Ad
I saw this ad on tv tonight for the first time for a popular beer here in Australia, Carlton Draught. Carlton United Breweries do some strange smart arse advertising. Outside their brewery near Brisbane you can see a big billboard from the highway for Carlton Draught with the caption "Made From Beer." lol. And others say stuff like "Brewed in a big metal thing." Anyway so I wanted to share this ad with people as you can watch it on the site. Here it is:

It's a great ad Pete!!
I saw it first a couple of weeks ago during the AFL Grand Final. Reminds me of the major battle scenes in films like Troy, Alexander etc. Also similar in some ways to the Qantas ads.

 well daan all heineken commercials are still better than the beer is! With Grolsch its opposite..that bitch playbacking the jamie cullum song, but the beer is great  tonight i'm going to drink a 2-litre huge bottle of Grolsch Herfstbok with a mate..damn im looking forward to that already!  (the big bottles standing on the left and right, behind)

Were they Qantas or Ansett ads? I thought they were the old Ansett ads? I thought of that too, but yeah maybe it was Qantas I dunno.
Yeah I think the idea was to make it look like Braveheart with the camera angles of the two groups running toward each other flicking back between them like that.
