Tiger's quite nice and good ol' Budweiser. I tend to prefer light beers, although I did drink some Fosters the other night because I'm oh, so manly. Grrrr.

GREAT IDEA FOR A TOPIC!

Firstly, ugh! I hate how people won't drink boutique beers cuz they consider it not manly enough and instead drink nothing but the local blokely beer that is just crappy and average. It's a waste of time drinking just to get drunk!

So yeah anyway I'd like to try the peach beer for sure. I love boutique beers, which are basically beers that usually have some kind of non-traditional twist or additive in an attempt to give them a great flavour and often aroma too.

Although we drink a lot of beer, unfortunately Australia doesn't really have their own style of beer and not actually that many great beers made here either. I should mention that nobody drinks Foster's here!!!! Haha. It's VB at an earlier stage in the brew and is really boring. I'm surprised so many people drink it especially in the UK. I like almost any beer as I'm right into it and like to brew my own. I've been brewing for about 6 months and have made everything from just plain old Australian draughts to AMAZING Czech pilsners. I love flavoured beers and I especially love to try new beers. I don't care how boring or over the top they are, I will try it and love it almost every time. Personally the only beer I have trouble with is wheat beer. Otherwise I love lagers, draughts, pilsners, ales, stouts, etc.

So anyway my favourite beer to drink is mine or my brother's homebrew, German or Belgian Czech-styles, a new Australian beer I discovered recently and EVERYTHING ELSE! Hehe. I'm just not fussy and will enjoy anything at all, at least for a couple anyway.

Beck's from Germany has become a lot more common here recently and I love the clean, crisp taste of it. Stella is also becoming more common here too. So I prefered imported to locals. I find I can probably drink more of the plainer local beers, but enjoy the imported more.

So my picks are:

IMPORTED: Beck's


LOCAL: Toohey's Extra Dry (I had to pick one of the common Australian beers and I think this is the best straight up crisp beer.)


BOUTIQUE: Roger's


AND ANOTHER FOR THE HELL OF IT: Caffrey's Stout (OMG SO CREAMY EHEHE. Irish of course.)


So Roger's is a beer I only recently discovered. It's a relatively new one brewed in Fremantle, South Australia by the Little Creatures Brewery. It has won best boutique beer at some beer awards the last two years and is just soooo amazing. Little Creatures is nice, but Roger's is the lighter version that is just such a perfect mix and OMG THE TASTE!!!! It's sort of a fruity mix.

Lol that'll do. Anyway there's this Liquor Warehouse near me that is MASSIVE!!!! It has beers from every country so this topic is gonna be great for me as I love to try new beers and I'm gonna go look for some hehe. Tom has already given me like six Belgians hehe. Well that'll do me for beer talk tonight haha.
