Banned x-box 360 commercial!!

i thought this commercial was genious, the best ive seen in a while. too bad its banned. im sure over-protective mothers everywhere that buy this for thier childen anyways would be all over it.

Hmm... I don't know... it's not really violent, almost all kids play those kind of games at least once in their lives... it sucks it was banned, btw, I don't think it's genious, it's not really creative or original.

well, genious is maybe a bit of a reach. but i thought it was pretty creative, and funny. Ive never seen a commercial like that anyways.

actually, my fav ad is for Carlton Draught in Australia. those are hilarious. Talk to peewee about those!

Yes I saw that a little while ago. I have no problem with it. Every kid plays some kind of bang bang game with their siblings and friends. I think it tries to emphasise this playful fun and show that every kid that plays a computer game doesn't want to blow up the world.

So ads like this are banned when ads like this are not in many cases. Thankfully many countries did ban the ad. Sony are the masters of stopping at nothing for advertising. Makes me think more highly of Microsoft than Sony and I haven't used either of their consoles. It's a shame kids don't really understand.

Microsoft pulled their tame ad, whereas Sony actually had the nerve the tell people there were no racist connotations meant by their ad.

This was posted on here before. It's a real creative one. And it shows how everybody thinks about videogames again by banning it.


On the Sony note, that campaign was edgy like always. And it got pulled. BUt in my opinion that's more about the people that viewed it than the advertisement itself. Only people who are occupied by rasicm take offense by the ad. You got put in any colours for those two. It just so happens there is a history and people take offense.

However, this Microsoft ad doesn't come close to the sony ads from back in the Playstation one days and the early PS2's. Those had quite some abstract artistic stuff in it.
