I adore all her songs as I understand everything wether it's portuguese or spanish. They are my favourite!

I love the Portuguese tracks on the albums, they are beautiful, I know the words to them, even tho I don't know exactly what they are saying when I first hear them!

plus, having Nelly singing in Portuguese etc has led me to find out more about other singers of the same language, I would never have known about Gilberto Gil if Nelly hadn't mentioned Caetano Veloso a few years ago and I bought a CD that he had don't with Gilberto Gil, it just was awesome!

If she had never sang in english I probably wouldnt have listened to her so much,because I wouldnt have understood all the lyrics. Now that she sings part english and part Portuguese, it's more accesible. You reallybegin to wonder what does she say in portuguese, so you soon find yourself studying the language, something that I wouldnt have done so soon if nelly didnt sang in Portuguese.

I don't understand a single word portuguese...I had no idea what those lyrics are about (until I read the translations here).
I don't care...portuguese sounds just great!! I like it
