Alias and 24!!!!

I am officially starting the countdown to the new seasons of two of the greatest shows on television:

Alias: 3 days, 23 hours, 17 minutes
24: 7 days, 23 hours, 17 minutes

(the maths is probably off, but you all get the point . . . i'm dying here! i need these shows NOW!!!!!!)

I agreed with Alias,24 i couldn?t follow,so i?m not familiar with the show.
My favourite one is the one from Alan Ballix feet under,i hope they keep the show here in europe.

Haha yup I'm hanging out for 24...I downloaded what I thought was the first ep of the new season (cuz it wont start for ages here so I get them as they come out in the US) but it was only 25 minutes and seemed to go nowhere but then had a date when it's next on. I was right into it, wide-eyed and pumped for it but when that happened I was pretty shitted off. So was that just a teaser or something? Can't wait for it, but I think i'll go crazy waiting each week for the new 24 I always do haha.

Yes, Alias is coming back. I really hope the people who have put all the episodes of season 1, 2 & 3 on the internet will do the same with the eps of season 4. I hope they put the 2-hour premiere on really soon, so i can watch it.

Here in Holland we've just begun with season 3 of 24, I didn't download the episodes, cuz the first one of season 1 did not work properly, so I decided to wait.

By thye way, today I saw the first episode of "Lost". I decided to dwonload the first episode, cuz I heard it's pretty good and it's also from J.J. Abrams of Alias.
I enjoyed the first episode, it seems to be getting very mysterious.
I wnated to know, if you guys also watch it, is it really woth it? Cuz I don't know how the creators can make a show about a plane crash last for another couple of seasons. Or do they already know how many seasons there will be, cuz the whole show seems better fit for a mini-series, but they somehow decided to make a series of it, so they'll have to come up with very good plots to make it last.

I'm a bit of a nerd lol so I can tell you Alias will definitely be put up. Although I don't watch it myself.

24 is worth getting every season. It's just brilliant.

Lost is yet to begin in Australia but I've been downloading it. There's been 11 episodes so far. I love it. I download a few shows that aren't shown or are way behind here in Oz such as Third Watch which is my favourite. However, I started to be hanging out more for Lost than it or anything else.

I think a lot of people might say Lost gets worse as it goes along but I love it more and more. You will be surprised how it maps out. The format of the show is basically a little bit about the central plot furthered each episode but more notably each week the show is from the perspective of a different person. So you get to learn about each person, why they were on the plane from Sydney and also there's a twist for every one. Some of them are very very well done and really there hasn't been a show quite like it before. So I admit sometimes it can be a bit strange and perhaps tedious or actionless but I think it's very clever and worth the watch. I don't like it when movies have a whole big group of people as the main characters and you don't really get to learn about them. This is just like a movie with an average plot that pauses and lets you get to know everyone on the island.

I download the whole 3rd season just to watch the 4th! I'm really curious for what will happen.. I hope it will really different from 3rd season, we need to see Sydney's smile again! The complicated relationship with her family! All of those intelligent plots from season 1 and 2.

JJ Abrams said it will come back. And there are just a few days to see if it will.


About Lost, I just watched the first 5 episodes. I really like it too. But will wait for june, when it will start here.

And about 24, my cable Tv hasn't FOX. I never watched it, but I will definitely rent the DVDs to watch it.

Jennifer Garner has said in an interview that this season is going to focus much more on Sydney's life outside of the CIA, like in season 1 because last season sort of lost track of that and I, like many others, found that contrast of her "real" life with her secret agent life to be really interesting. I'm also uber excited to see how the Syd and Vaughn relationship plays out considering they're not together in real life anymore and to know that you've been dumped for a tool like Ben Affleck . . . well the tension is probably going to be intense i.e. awesome.

And, yes, as others have said, Lost is incredible. It has definitely taken a different turn from what I was expecting (like are we ever going to find out why there were polar bears on a tropical island? or what the monster is? or where he went, cause he hasn't eaten anyone lately?) but that's why we all love JJ Abrams. And a lot of people that I have spoken to are skeptical about it--they're like so these people are stuck on an island, who cares? I already saw Castaway! But it's really nothing like that because as someone said earlier, the show concentrates more on the stories of these people and the savagry within them a la Lord of the Flies, rather than the technical story itself. And by the way, anyone else dying to know what Kate did? Apparently we're going to find out soon cause Evangelin Lilly said in an interview that she's going to commit a similar crime soon to the one that she was arrested for. Yay!!

Yeah. I'm expecting to see the normal side of Syd's life again too.. One of the reasons who made Alias an success of critics was because it shows that an spy agent does have a life outside the job, does have friends and feelings.
I'm really glad it will come back.

Hehe ok i'll check out the first episode of the new Alias and who knows if I like it I might end up with all of em.

As for Lost, well you're getting me really excited now! lol. I have to say I was also like oooh with the polar bear etc but I've felt that that's the major downfall of the show so far. The fact that they could hardly move in the forest the first few episodes and now they just stroll around not too bothered at all and even live in there.

I'm definitely very curious to find out more about Kate and I don't think it's gonna be very simple. I also have a feeling some more of the others are going to redevelop too. The stories that did it for me were no doubt Lock's and Sawyer's. They both had massive twists that I never expected in a million years. Sawyer's especially I thought that was just brilliant. I got to like his character since then (even though he's usually just a dick).

Hey did you know that Naveen Andrews is actually Sayid? I just assumed the top billing was Jack and didn't even think about what Sayid's actor's name was. I find that very strange. Actually now I have a feeling they are in alphabetical order? Lol oh well.
