i got my special edition of the cd on friday,
it's pretty, it's in a slipcase and there are 6 lyric cards in it. and the bonus cd is great, i love all the songs. |

I think her best album to date is Under Rug Swept. This one, I don't know. Great lyrics as always, but I'm getting tired of this trend of making musically "light and fun" albums, so I didn't like it as much as her previous work, but I bet it will grow on me. I LOVE the Tequila song from the deluxe edition. So fun!

i don't think the album's light and fun.
 her best album for me is 'Supposed...', then: Flavors Jagged Little Pill Under Rug Swept So Called Chaos but there are great great songs on all of them that i wouldn't wanna miss. |

She said so herself, that she wanted the sound of it to be light and fun. The lyrics are not, but the music is just not my taste, it sounds too electronic and synthetic, I don't know... I may change my mind later but it's my least favorite album so far.
And I don't have So Called Chaos, I knew I was missing one. I don't even remember ever hearing about it... What's your favorite song? I think that mine is Utopia, I've always been amazed by how minstrel-y it sounds, something out of the Middle Ages, awesomely cool. And what's your favorite from Flavors?

My favorite song is also Utopia... this is one of the songs you can hear a side of Alanis we don't get to hear much. As if the rejoycing lyrics weren't enough, the soft music, and the beautiful headvoice of Alanis at its best make the song just perfect.
Precious Illusions is also a strong song on that album, which is my second favorite just after Jagged Little Pill Acoustic.

uhm is her song Its a Bitch to Grow up on her new album?? Im not a hard core fan and got into listning to her music through my mum...but canadians are great arnt they

Flavours Of Entanglement is definitely one of her best albums. Its almost a return to her early style. Stand out songs forme would have to be Citizen of the Planet, Strait Jacket, Versions of Violence & In Praise of the vulnerable man
