I first saw Nelly on channel V (a show we have here in oz, like MTV cept better
) and she'd just released her video for ILAB.. Of course instantly i realised this girl was absolutely beautiful -her smile, her eyes, everything. Moreso her voice and music were refreshingly different.
My eyes are kinda broken (thats just my way of saying they dont work properly ) sometimes i have trouble seeing colours and things. After seeing her video for the first time I couldnt figure out what colour her eyes are.. so i kept watching, waiting for the next time they showed it so i could finally figure it out... and let me tell you.. the part where she looks at the bug didnt help lol.. even today im not sure, i just call them 'blue-grey'
The first song i really liked was SOTR, i saw it on her performance at muchmusic, then i was hooked.. i saw shes not one of those 'one-hit wonders' and so i bought her album and realised how much she had to offer. And i'm still hooked
