Yes, that's why I like movies like 21 grams and Lost In Translation so much. I'm glad they're still making movies like that in Hollywood sometimes. They are really good. I also liked Mystic River.

If you're not aware of him and you like funky-odd films, check out David Lynch, especially Blue Velvet and Lost High-way. Awesome.

P.S. This kinda reminds me of the 'Favourite Films' thread, which makes me wonder where 'Missy' has gone to, is she still around?
good choices, except I did saw Once Upon A Time in Mexico for the first time a little while ago because it was all filmed in the area/city of Mexico that I stayed in last summer, but wow I really ust thought it sucked balls, to be vulgar. blah, I'd rather not talk about it. Anyway:

1. Dogville
2. Mean Girls!
3. 13 Going on 30 (helloooooo it's Sydney Bristow!)
4. Breakfast at Tiffany's

I can't think of any more, I watch too many movies to think . . .

I really wanted to see 21 Grams but never got the chance.. I really need to get it when it comes out on DVD.. and Thirteen too.. just need the cash..

just watched Once Upon A Time In Meixco too.. had it on DVD for 2 months n neva watched it.. it thought it was pretty good, Johnny Depp makes it all rly humerous he's great.

I thought Cats & Dogs sucked.. no offence Nikki.. but I didnt think it was funny at all.

umm..good films I'm see recently?...

Troy
Freaky Friday
Secret Window
Fight Club (omg..that film is great! it has such an odd effect on me.. I rly shouldnt watch films..)
Donnie Darko

umm..on a slighty different note (kind of Off Topic I know..and I do apologise..).. I just wanted to mention that there was a programme on the tv during the week there..called Death In Gaza..it is one of the most moving things I have ever seen.. um.. I'm not even goin to try and describe it, because I guess you really had to have witnessed it.. but heres a couple of links I think you really should check out... (did anyone else see it??)

C4 News - World - Israel - Death In Gaza

Justice For James Miller

it is so touching.. I actually felt like crying at the end of it. the worst of it is.. that it is all true.
