I'll avoid opinions but to reply to your two mistakes. Firstly, they were speaking Aramaic, which is slightly similar to Hebrew. Jesus spoke only Aramaic. The Gospels were written in Greek.
Secondly, (it's "crucifiction" by the way

) a nail is hammered through the feet of the crucified and rests on a base that extends from the cross. Notice Jesus is not completely outstretched. This is done so that much of the strain of the body weight is relieved from the arms/hands so that nails through the hands are sufficient. Therefore, in theory their hands would not rip apart and would hold up fine, but I must admit I've seen and heard of the nails being driven through the arms. Although that would kill them quite quickly.
