I'm sorry to disappoint you...but your knowledge about singnig is not "all that" bcuz I'm sure many will agree with me that both are amazingly talented...take their age...16 and 19...come on, their voice are not even completly mature and look at they're streght!!

I agree with you completely. I love Kelly Clarkson, but she has a career. Now onto you, Deep. Obviously, you haven't payed attention much this season. This season, almost all the women (minus Jasmine Trias) had great voices. I mean, seriously, LaToya London sang her ASS off every single week. At least, she is a normal-looking singer with an amazing voice. Jennifer Hudson controlled her voice VERY WELL.
Diana DeGarmo is very talented at only 16. She also sings her ass off every week. She still needs to develop though.
Fantasia Barrino DID sound like Macy grey when I first heard her. I can't stand Macy grey. I try to watch Macy b/c I don't like hating a singer, but after a while, I just don't like her. Fantasia is completely different. Unlike Macy's drunk-sounding voice and personality, Fantasia has pep, sings in tune (always) and sings with emotion. Besides that, she has so much soul, it's hard NOT to be attracted to it (if you actually watch her, especcially after singing "Summertime"). I understand why ppl are irritated with her voice, but seriously, if you give the girl more than two seconds and LISTEN to her, then she may grow on you like she grew on me.
