ouch! I know Kim C was so last year, but I'm sorry, I thought the competition this year was to put it vulgarly, complete balls. I think that Fantasia sounds exactly like Macy grey and to be honest, one Macy grey is more than enough for me because she bothers me and I mean the reason why I liked Clay last year is because it was something different . . . I like American Idol, but I've never actually agreed with who the two finalists are. I mean, please the fact that Justin Guarini even got into the final 12 was pitiful and even last year, I do love Clay, but he's not an American Idol in my mind becaue he belongs on broadway and don't even get me started on Ruben's mediocrity. The same thing this year--I don't think they're absolutely terrible, but there was no reason for me to watch because there wasn't anyone in the final 12 or even before that who actually captured my attention like holy shit that girl/guy has talent. And the judges have been raving all along about Fantasia, and maybe it really is just me but I can't understand why because as I've said, she's good, but fucking Simon said she's been the best so far out of all three competitions which I think is just the biggest crock of shit. If Fantasia is the best that America could give in the past three years, then I really may have to move somewhere where real, good singers are actually produced . . .(okay, not entirely true, because hello Mariah and co were born in the USA)
