Re: 2007 Oscar Nominations

Where's Volver nomination on Best Foreign Film and Thank You For Smoking on Best Adapted Screenplay? Buhh.

But anyway.. I'm rooting for Mark Wahlberg because I never expected him to be so good.

Re: 2007 Oscar Nominations

goddammit just give Martin Schorsese his Oscar already! It's long overdue.

Yet they continue to giveaway the Oscars to movies that are easily forgettable (ie fuckin' Crash)

Re: 2007 Oscar Nominations

Little Miss Sunshine!!!!

The Departed was an okay action movie. But note on the greatness that is Infernal Affairs. It was way too blunt and all the subtlety of the original was lost. As was the great atmosphere. All though it did translate in yet another gritty movie, but Boston just wasn't it.

Little Miss Sunshine is the best movie in years.
