"Loose"
What's up people? I'm new to the forum and I'm here because I have finally understood the reason why all of you have been such loyal supporters of Nelly over the years. I'm the one who sent the webmaster the message about the upcoming Nelly album tracks that she did with Timbaland. I was fortunate to be in their sessions and since then, I can honestly say that I have a new found respect for her. I must first say, that she is one of the nicest, most down-to-Earth people/celebrities that I have ever met in my life. I am a writer and I also work with Timbaland's camp so I deal with a lot of celebrities on a regular basis and I can remember the first day I met her, she came out of the booth, and she walked up to me and she was like, "Hi, my name is Nelly." And I'm thinking, "I know who the fuck you are. You have won a Grammy. You have sold millions of records and you are introducing yourself to me?" That showed me that Nelly didn't have an ego and wasn't on some superstar shit. Everytime she walked in the room, she said hello. She was always in such a great mood and I truly hated myself for not really paying her any attention with her first two records. I have both now and I love her even more. I think artists like her deserve to do well and deserve the many blessings in their life because of their unselfish and humble outlook on life. Even though I haven't listened to Folklore yet (cause I'm still bumping Whoa! Nelly), I can say you will be happy with the new music. I haven't heard the stuff that the Neptunes and Scott did, but the shit Tim and Nelly collaborated on is crazy. Tim is definately back and Nelly is doing her thing. The songs are incredible and I'm not just saying that because I like both of them. "Promiscuous Girl" will definately have Nelly stepping into the hip-hop arena. Hopefully it can crossover like Gwen's "Hollaback Girl" (no, the songs aren't similar). I was reading a post about "No Hay Igual" featuring somebody, but it's a straight Nelly track. I am anticipating Nelly's release just as everyone else, because even though I have the tracks, the rest of the world deserves to hear the new Nelly material.
